Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
